Neocron problem!

ok did this happen to you guys or do you know how to fix it?
when im installing, i put it to maximum install, then it stops about halfway into the installation saying "please insert CD" or some shit... then i read the readme and it said place to files into a certain folder so i put them into the neocron folder, tryed installing again, same thing... this is pissing me off!!!!!!!!

damnitt it took me 3 hours to dl this, i have allready exceeded my monthly 5 gig bandwitch and i had to pay just to dl this non working piece of fucken shit and they dont even make an instalation fucken simple.****

put the terrian.pak and terriancd.dat it your the root folder of your c drive

Is that don't fix it, just retry. It took me three tries of installing to actually get it to work. First time, I got that error. Then it just froze up on me. Finally it went through. Just put terrain.pak and terrain.dat in root C: drive (Might wanna reboot before you install) then Install and remove those files and you're good to go... except the 50somethingMB patches hehe.

You're supposed to do Minimum install, there's an installation guide on the main page.

what is the root directory i havent heard that term b4...

btw what sopace does it take up when it's totally installed?
i only have 1 gig left and i cant even defrag because i dont have enough space left...

root directory is C:\
and if download is more then a gig i can assume the installed prog takes more space( I don't have it cus my bandwith it's like shit, i mean, i download between 16-28ks/sec depending on the server)

ok, i finally installed it, then now i need to do the patches, it says to put the patches in the patches folder, duh but their is no fucken patches folder so wtf?

hehe.. its funny how you all having trouble installing it, but then after you finally get it installed it works great. but i installed it the first time perfectly... my video card messes up =(

It's actually easy to install.. but you'll be mad once you play. NOTHING TELLS YOU ANYTHING. You'll be lost and confused.

if it took you 3 hours to download you shouldnt be complaining, thats over 100k/s. it takes me 4 hours going at about 80k/s i havent d/led it yet cuz i always hafta do something when i start but im gonna start it and leave it on until its finished and hope that my computer doesnt get shook around too much (something is loose and when its hit too hard it restarts)

hey i was wondering if i could just use daemon tools instead of burning the other files to a cd in order to do minimum install?

i just did the maximum install instead, and it was pretty easy.

also, for the patches, download them manually otherwise you'll waste an hour of your time.

hmm i downloaded it today... (love my 6mb cable took 30mins) and then i installed and stuff and now how doi make an ac..i know i sound stupid but bleh its onfusing :()

EDIT: Nvm i figured it out wtih the help of a friend..go to www.neocron.com and scroll down till u see a text that says create an account..and then just follow the steps..
