I am told that people can play games such as Diablo 2, Warcraft, and Starcraft through AOL....they just minimize AOL and start playing their game...but for me however...i can never do this...i am told that you have to activate an option through properties called outside use or something like that...does anyone know how i can activate this outside use option so i can play my games through AOL?

Press the little minus at the top-right of the screen then you can see your games.

the minus thing doesnt work...minimizing for some reason closes AOL out to all other programs...if i minimize AOL and try to connect to my games it will say im not connected to the internet...but there is an option that makes it so that the internet can be accessed through programs while AOL is minimized...i need to find that option

Trash AOL and get a new ISP...lol...but, I used to use AOL and had no problem playing ANY online games such as counter-strike, starcraft, diablo 2, warcraft 2, any of them...they all worked.

this is the first time i have tryed using AOL to connect to B.net to play Diablo 2....i used to use a Dial-up connection made on my desktop....the username, password, and phone number dialed were all my friends but they desided to cancel they subscription to wherever they got their username...etc from without telling me and about 2 weeks ago i couldnt connect anymore...and i was told you could play Diablo 2 through AOL...i would minimize AOL...run Diablo 2...click on B.net....it would pass Querying Gateway, then get to "Connecting to fastest server" and stop..then after 5 minutes it would say.."Could not connect to B.net"......i was told this is because AOL is automatically closed to outside use...such as accessing the internet through it for Diablo 2...i was also told that there is an option somewhere on AOL where i can disable this auto option...then i would be able to connect to B.net and i could then play Diablo 2, Starcraft:Brood War, and Warcraft 3......if anyone knows where this option is on AOL plz tell me so i can change it and be able to play my games...thanx.
