Bioshock Infinite: Overrated?

Bioshock Infinite is pretty overrated. The ending was so cliche and I knew it was going to happen. The gameplay mechanics are very broken as well, not to mention your invincible partner Elizabeth. Best game of all time? It's not even the best Bioshock.

I had hoped I'd get to predict the revival of the Ocarina of Time review police on GameSpot, which gave thumbs down en masse to haters assigning that game scores of 9.9 OR LESS. Unfortunately, Metacritic makes the discrepancy between reviewer rating (excellent) and actual quality (good/great) pretty obvious in this case.

I'm not really sure what I thought I would contribute to this thread, I want to play this game though.

It may be overrated but it's still a fun game. I don't expect it to be deep or anything since it is still a FPS. I did fall in love with the city of Columbia when the protagonist first arrives there. I spent half an hour probably just exploring and not really even moving the story or action along.

I hope it's not overrated, I don't want to be wasting this time downloading the torrent when I could be doing something more productive.
