Okay here's how everything has gone down.
I bought and pre-loaded Gran Turismo 5 the second day after it came out. Updated the game that same day and proceded to play over the next two days for roughly 5-6 hours overall, off-and-on. A good amount of playing time. Nothing seemingly has gone wrong until the next patch was released. It was roughly a 130mb patch I believe and I left the playstation on a while to download it and install; However, when I go to play afterwards I started getting hard-drive issues and the playstation was acting very funny. It was freezing up on the GT5 load screen and is telling me I need to delete everything that was saved.
Now, I need to figure out what to do. I know I could delete and start from scratch but that's bullshit. I'm basically making this thread because I'm sure there are other people out there who could be, or are having similar issues.
I'll update this thread with error codes later tonight, and hopefully the solution to this problem can be found relatively soon. It's very frustrating to say the least.
