This one isn't really new, but I hadn't seen it until recently and it's probably my favorite TEDTalk yet.

tl;dw - And the third part of this is that we’ve all agreed nonetheless on the really extraordinary capacity that children have, their capacities for innovation. I mean, Sirena last night was a marvel, wasn’t she, just seeing what she could do. And she’s exceptional, but I think she’s not, so to speak, exceptional in the whole of childhood. What you have there is a person of extraordinary dedication who found a talent.

And my contention is, all kids have tremendous talents and we squander them, pretty ruthlessly.

Apparently he did a second one, which is probably even better.

It's too bad the people who are running our world don't think this way.

I watched the second one a little bit ago, great video. He divulges pretty fairly competently and breaks it down in parts that actually make sense. He's also a funny dude, with a good sense of humor. Goddamn i've been watching it again, and he speaks the truth. We've become, industrialized in a sense. If you haven't seen either video, definitely check it out.

And when you're done. ;)
