Yes, another sticky where we post things from day to day. Actually this one is pretty cool. Gloat about weight you lifted or pounds you lost. Do NOT flame someone for amount they lift or weight they've lost.

Squatted 225 x 3 today.

Well, last night I benched 135 x 12

and then that x5..

nothing major, just keeping muscles loose.

Half squats or ATG ? my legs are my weak points due to having so many knee injuries when i was younger which prevents me from putting too much stress on my knees! but i train them 2 days a week with perfect form and i'm getting half decent growth and strength increases.

ACC;

120lb's to 160 in half a year, Bent over rows jumped from 99lb's upto 160 in 3 months. so far those are my best accomplishments. ;)

Ive heard going past 90 degree's on a squat puts a lot of strain on your knee's. And neither me or my friend can squat far enough (without weight) to get an efficient ATG squat. So basically we went to about a 90 degree squat. Next time we go we are going to try some box squats.

stopping at 90 degrees is actually pretty stressful for your knees, when you go atg your hamstrings are resting against your calves so youre not putting much strain on your knees

Broke my Bench Press PR for the second time in a week, first broke it by 22lbs and today broke that by a further 18lbs. my tri's and chest are killing me atm. ><

Not too bad, keep up the high reps though as your max will gain more from that, rather than just trying to max out all the time.

i'm only doing 8 reps max :P and all of my PR's were broken on that, after 4-5 sets. which is pretty good considering my chest normally messes me around...

Today i benched 245 for the first time (7x's) and then did a total of 35 pull ups (the ones that Will Smith does in I Am Legend) to work my lats and whole upper back.

I tend to do chest and back on one day, biceps and tricepts on the next and shoulders and legs on the last. The fourth day is strickly abs and 1 hour long cardio.

During mid week, i try to do 20-30 minutes of cardio, whether its biking, running or boxing. Also, i tend to eat nearly 2000-2200 calories during the week and then drop between 1500-1700 on the weekends (especially if i go drinking during the night (where i only allow myself to add 500 calories on top of that (Bacardi (one shot) and diet cola is only 60 calories with 0 carbs or sugar so i can have a decent amount without really hurting my needs)))
