'But there's no way you can get there from here.'
One potential civilian spin-off: a Bluetooth Helmet (http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/09/votronics-bluebike-setup-brings-bluetooth-to-the-helmet) so people nearby can't hear you when you talk on your cell phone.
