Okay, so i am running on a Dell Vostro 1500, and it was going great for a couple months. I reformatted my laptop so i basically had a clean slate, and now my disk drive wont open unless I put a needle in the little "open hole" thing. And once I put a CD in, it doesnt run it. I cant even go to My Computer to find an option to run the CD or game. I'm pretty sure I need to install something, but I don't know what I need to install.
Any questions for clarification or any help would be fantastic. Thanks a lot guys.

(by the way.. i'm trying to get back up and running on DII once this is fixed.)
EDIT: I called dell. After a bunch of BS, we just pretty much came to the conclusion that my optical drive was shot. He's sending me a new one for free in 2-3 days and walked me through how to take them out on laptops(something i've wanted to know for a while). Kickass. That guy was pretty cool too, they are really learning how to sound more american although i can still recognize their indian voices. Which I didn't mind at all because he was patient and the phone call totaled for an hour and 4 minutes.
