It's all good in the hood. Only reason I have one is just in case some of my old friends try to fall off the grid and still check facebook.
No facebook for me.
Although, i do have a myspace.

Will never get either one but people who have facebook are a lot more tolerable than people who have myspace.

I've one too. Facebook isn't as bad as MySpace, but it's getting there with all these random-ass applications.

Which is why I hate it.
I have both. Welcome to the rest of your life, Vault Dweller.

It's wild having people I haven't seen in years pop up out of nowhere mere hours after I've signed up.
I actually might be able to maintain some friendships that have gone by the wayside. Guess not such a bad thing.

Exactly why I have Facebook. Definitely helps you keep in contact with people that you went to school with.

It's helped me find people I used to go to school with back in Mississippi.

Moment of Truth: I actually joined Facebook in a misguided attempt to get some ass (specific ass, not random ass). However, this attempt has backfired on me, resulting in a mild state of dejection.
My consolation turns out to be the above stated fact that I am now in touch with people I haven't seen in quite some time. Unfortunately, my mere presence as a Facebook member serves as a reminder of my failure to get laid.
Shit-fuck, hell-damn.

Hey, facebook is not a bad place to find chicks. I know plenty of guys who get laid via people they meet of there even through friends.

You're ignorant. I know plenty of people who've met their signifigant others online and have had fruitful relationships. I met my girlfriend originally online, and her and I are doing great. Whereas you are single and angst-filled. No method is superior to another as far as first contact, in my opinion. They have their own pros and cons; and in all honesty, if a woman's too closed-minded to meet someone from online, then she's probably too closed-minded to deal with :).

I should be more specific with my situation. I was convinced by a girl that I work with (and would like to hook up with) that I should create a facebook account. I was not, in fact, trolling for internet ass. My plan seems to have failed.
Go, me!

So your plan was:
A.) Make facebook account like girl wanted.
B.) ???
C.) Sex!

I like the facebook doesn't get spammed. It has a better format than Myspace, and there is a less likely change of random people you don't know adding you. It's more 'personal'. If they dropped a lot of the useless applications then I would be more inclined to use it.

I check it every few days. /shrug
I can't imagine how people spend hours a day on it...

That Scrabble app? Or was it canned?
The only time I've spent more than ten minutes on Facebook was the day after my Leaving Day, when people started to upload photos of everyone in their fancy dress. It was amazing how you could get from one album to another just be following the tagged people. :p
i lol'd. wanted to positive rep u, but i can't. :) nice tho
