View Full Version : Subforum question.
I've got a question, how come the three moderators that are selected to this specific forum have never posted in here? Isn't that a conflict of interest.

They are all Sup Mods. You just want a mod spot!
No i'm just wondering what is their point in this specific forum.

If you look through the 'Basement' part of Zelaron, all three of them are common factors, aside from -Spector- in the Diablo II forums. My guess is they are mods there because they are Sup Mods, which puts them in all forums aside from the 'Hosted' ones.
Oh alright, thanks for clearing that up, so basically they're just defautled to everything?..

I would think so.

This forum inherits the moderators of all its parent forums. All subforums do. "Supreme moderators," as implemented on Zelaron have no global privledges except ban and profile view; because of this, they are actual moderators of all the top-level categories except Hosted and Staff in order to do their job.

Sovereign (10): 6 posts, 1 new thread, and 4 posts in the Current Fuel Prices thread
Lenny (34): 5 posts, plus 29 in the Current Fuel Prices thread
!K_A! (31): 15 posts, plus 16 in the Current Fuel Prices thread
As a percent of the total number of posts in the sub-forum (not including this one):
Sov: 1.78%
Len: 6.04%
!K_A!: 5.52%
Altogether: 13.35%
Just thought I'd do you, D3V, out of pure interest.
You've made 149 of the 562 posts, which is 26.51%.

As for posting,I have to admit, although I like cars, I don't like them enough to post about them.
If you're really that bothered about it, though, then by the end of Sunday, I'll have a thread up about the new Audi R8, and I'll try to get a thread up about a car that interests me every week.

Agreed. I don't really care a lot about cars. Most of the car enthusiasts I know aren't big into forums, or goto car-specific forums. However, if d3v's keeping it active then it's worth keeping.
Take away the current fuel prices %'s and there basically isn't a % to go off of. I'll be keeping an eye on the R8 thread, I actually saw one in person the other day while I was on my cellphone walking around OP while my car was being worked on, very awesome to see. He was at the red light literally about 50-60 yards away from me, it changed to green he jumped about 9-10 car lenghts on the rest of the pack in about 2 seconds, and was gone. I was baffled at the acceleration.

OK then, I'll disregard the fuel prices thread, which puts the four of us at:
Total: 282 posts
Sov: 6 posts = 2.13%
Len: 5 posts = 1.78%
!K_A!: 15 posts = 5.32%
Mods: 26 posts = 9.23%
D3V: 115 psts = 40.78%
I'd be willing to put a golf cart on the line that the percentages of other members are around the same as the mods individual percentages.
Damn, so basically the only one that wants an automotive forum is me :(

Thanatos: 16 posts = 5.67%
Spector: 7 posts = 2.48%
HoH: 13 posts = 4.50%
WKFF: 26 posts = 9.22%
Figures again without those from the fuel prices thread.
People do post, but not religiously. Granted, no-one near as much as you do, but post they do nonetheless. Were those four Sup Mods rather than Sov, !K_A! and me, then the story would be more or less the same, so don't start assuming.
Personally I think that the Automotive forum has been a success - it's stayed active, and there are a number of threads and posts. Nowt wrong with doing them all yourself - it shows that you care about the forum.
EDIT: You know, I'm surprised there aren't any threads about bikes.

I'm also considered a mod of the RPGforum but I've probably made 5 posts in there. That's just how it works right now.

How long were you on Zelaron until they made you a supreme Mod?

Well I think I was made a Supreme Mod a little over a year ago. I was a mod a few times before that as well.
