Ever notice how other websites have little logos next to the web address? Or in your favorites or bookmarks tab?

Did you also notice how Zelaron has yet to have one?

Not anymore.

I've designed a favicon based on the color scheme of x79 (won't matter much as it's a multitude of pixels away and the color seperation won't be noticeable.)

So, I wanted your opinions on it, I can change it if you don't like it or you can post your own and we can vote on them.

Give more options in the poll. Saying, it sucks, is a bad idea. Some people might want you to tweak it a little to make it better so it would be "Alright" not sucking though.

Did you all the variations, or just that one? Most icons should at least have 16x16 and 32x32 images in both 256 and 16 colors.

I agree. I think it is nice but could use some tweeking to make it better. It is not something that I would like over all else. Kinda just not the type of thing that seems to fit the rest of the site.

I think the icon should be more edgy. Just alter the old design a bit, and the famicon should be OK

In Mozilla, if you click the second one, it'll appear on the tab as if it actually was the favicon for that site. It looks pretty neat and I got used to it.

It looks nice, but it needs a shine on it. If it had some power bulging from it, that would look neat.

I like it but favicon's are generally 16x16 in the address bar and tabs.

Anything other than what we've basically got isn't gonna fit well.

But if you make it at 32x32 then it gets shrunk down to 16x16 if you have your browser set to display 16x16s.

The best part about an icon file is that it can have multiple sizes! The issue, though, is that it needs to be a design that scales well to 16x16, even if there is a 32x32 one made available, since most users will see it at 16x16.

All you have to do is stick the favicon in the root of the viewable site for it to work.
