Suggestion... Even tho Chruser is gone

i think we should do our forum leaders like alot of other forums are doing it something like


Server Administrators , Forum Administrators , Supreme Moderators , Moderators , Veteran Members , Members


more staff postions =/ and they are more specific

Why? That just adds more people into an already complex mix. There is no good reason for further segmentation of status. Just leave it as it is.

*shrugs* dosent matter to me, but as i see it right now Xenn,Taco, and wetwired are more Supreme mods then admins =p admins on zelaron dont have that much power im not even sure if i see the big diffrence in Things you can and cant do compared to supreme mod and Administrator besides the fancy new title

Like I've said before, I can't see any reason to WANT to be a mod. All it actually does is provide a meager amount of meaningless status, and makes the person a target for other members to attack. I don't understand WHY there are so many mods. There are two to three mods for every forum in the "off-topic" section, and it's completely unnecessary.

simple, it works....no need to complicate....trust me, look at UGC, yes its nice, but its hella confusing all the groups they got

that's suicide. Whenever there isn't a mod online the place'll be trashed. If we have 10 or so super mods, every forum is covered 24/7.

There aren't enough active members to trash this forum. Dark Phoenix and Gamecube post something like once every two days, and their boards are just fine. JohnnyTae and Penguin are both modding every board in Off-Topic, and Johnny at least seems to have the free time to close 18 million threads a day, so why not just leave it to them? I'm not trying to be insulting, but I don't quite see why they need you and Strider modding three other boards with them. Personally, I'd prefer to see Johnny demodded and you replace him on Off-Topic, but he has seniority. My point is, the ONLY forums that need more than one mod are the Off-Topic boards, and two per board is more than enough.

what about that other message board that hates this one? ec-something? they come in here and spam often times, what's to prevent them from targeting a forum that isn't as actively modded as the rest?

How does having three mods per board prevent it? I don't see how having a few less regular mods is going to open the spamgates. And, as far as I have seen, those guys don't seem to attack unprovoked. Maybe I don't have the whole story, but the last few times anything has happened between Zelaron and them, it seems to have been someone from here starting it.
