It's not a 360 game, but meh. I'm putting it here anyway.
So, I'm on the 5th chapter, and I am getting murdered by the Black Spider Ninjas. Those goddamned exploding daggers of theirs are slowly killing my soul.
Has anyone finished this damn game? Is there a trick to beating these pube-chewers, or do I just need to suck it up?

I don't understand why you would put it here. What system is it for?

It's a Ninja Gaiden game, so I'd guess at a Microsoft system. And seeing as it's not the 360, then maybe it's the original Xbox?
And I'm right! God, I'm good.

Would any of these help, Raz?

XBox, King.
And I was hoping for more direct experience-based wisdom, Lenny. However, I think I've gotten the hang of taking those bitches out at this point. I'm on Chapter 6 now, so all is well.

Well, though it might not come directly from me, the writers of the FAQs and guides will have their own experience.

I played the first iteration of the game, and it was hard...fucking hard. Haven't played Black or Sigma, though. Can't imagine what the difficulty level might be like in those.
I did recently see the preview for Ninja Gaiden 2 - that may be the tipping point for me to buy a 360.

Honestly, I think the worst part about it is the complete lack of a checkpoint system. I truly don't feel it's any tougher than Devil May Cry, or God of War. It's difficulty is just less tolerable because it punishes you more for failure.

Yeah, the checkpoint issue stopped me cold on my first playthrough of the game. I got to the dragon skeleton boss and didn't have much in the way of healing items. The prospect of playing the level again seemed like such a tedious venture, I opted to stop playing the game altogether for a few months.
Ultimately, I think I may be a bigger DMC fan anyway. DMC4 looks fantastic.

I'm kinda out of steam on Chapter 10. I'm at that electric worm miniboss, and I know I could beat this thing if I just devoted a half-hour to figuring him out, but I don't have any motivation at all. Maybe I'll give it a shot later tonight.

That one was a pain in the ass too. Just thinking about that game makes me kind of weary.
Does Raziel win the award for longest running sig of an active member? WetWired has changed his a few times, and made it interactive, so I say yes.

It's entirely possible. I've got no intention of changing it, either.
