Well a friend of ours gave us a PS2 the other day and FF7 Cerebus' Bite. I noticed that it said this was the finalization to the story and Advent Children was the middle game. So, should I get this one and play it. How much will I be missing out? Is it a good game?
I kinda don't like the real time fighting style of this one Cerebus Bite. It's not classic Final Fantasy, what's up with that.

I thought Advent Children was a movie?

Shit. Now that you say that, I think your right. >.<

So did I.

I don't know much about it, but I'm guessing that Dirge of Cerberus follows on from the Advent Children film, unless Squenix have released a game whilst our backs were turned.

Don't you mean Dirge of Cerberus?

And as far as I know Advent Children is a movie.

Cerebus' Bite = Diablo 2 item for druids

From what I heard, Dirge just wasn't that good. Squenix needs to stick to rpgs and avoid the whole action/shooter category alltogether.

That's what I've heard as well. It's short and not good. I never bothered getting it.

I played some of it. It's basically Gungrave with RPG elements and FF7 plot. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but FF7-whores hate it because it's not the remake they've been squealing about for the last decade.

I'd give it a rent if you're interested at all, King.

...have you played Einhander? Square knows how to make a damn-fine shooter.

Not only have I not played it, I've never heard of it (italics included for faux-mockery).

I'll have to check it out.

Good luck with that. I'd try to find a ROM before hunting down one of the game discs.

Since it's on the PS1, I wouldn't suggest it. From my experience and understanding, anything N64 and up really just doesn't emulate well, regardless of your computer.

Well, that's pretty gay. I own a copy of Einhander, but it regularly goes for around 50 bucks on Ebay. Factory sealed copies are more like $120.

Yeah, that's pretty unfortunate. For SNES, I never have to worry. I own most of the greats in console form, but if they ever stop working I can always download a rom. Doesn't work that way with other games, most unfortunately.

ePSXe works just fine for PS1 roms.

Do they lag/is the sound choppy?

Not if configured properly.
