Firstly I don't think guests should be allowed to read Forums News and Discussion and Talk to the Staff. Oh well to the members who just don't feel like signing in cause they won't post.
And second. How about Zelaron teasers for guests. Perhaps they are only allowed to read so many threads per day via cookies? Or they can only read the first 5 posts in a thread. Or perhaps only play a limited selection of games. Although to post a high score they must be signed in so... I guess that works good enough.
Just came to mind.

I don't see any reason to NOT allow guests to view certain forums, it's not like there's top secret information.
The teasers on the other hand might not be a bad idea, but I don't think there are really any "lurking" guests, mostly they just come for one page and leave.
However, there is a single thread that I constantly see guests viewing and new members viewing to download.
http://zelaron.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29948
Almost every new member we get goes to that thread to download the attachment, most likely because they cannot download it as a guest. Perhaps there is some way we can somehow funnel them into posting a bit, maybe make it where you have to be a member and make 10 posts before you can download attachments.
Oh, and the attachment says this "5312 views."
That's probably like 1000 times more than any other attachment on Zelaron.
Also, if you google "warcraft 1.15 maphack" we're the first link, and if you just google "warcraft maphack" we're number 4. We need to exploit this somehow.

The only bad thing about that thread is the fact that 85% of the posts are by banned people.. lol it just kind of gives off a bad impression I think.
If I went to download a hack from a forum, and it was posted by someone who was banned, I would assume he posted a virus or something. (maybe I'm just paranoid)
Re-make the thread I say!

Or just unban the people in the thread. It's not like any of them would ever come back anyway.

Is there any other way to exploit our most popular threads. No real d/ls but just like guides and tuts.
I know if you Google/Yahoo Hellfire Torch we are #1
