Hip hop/rap and classic rock. All-time favorite musician: Tom Petty.

I can't stand MOST of the new Hiphop. I miss the old days with more intellegent rappers like Ludacris and even Eminem, the oldest 2 cds, maybe even some KRS1..

Mainstream rap is shit these days.
If I hear another song about rims, money, or bling, I'm going to start up a dogfighting ring.

It is pretty sad that ANY black person can become famous, just gotta get a decent repeating beat and a one-liner for the entire song..

Bodom is good, they're kind of a hybrid Blackened Death/Power Metal though. Zombie is Industrial/Groove Metal and I don't know Trivium, I think they're more mainstream than I care for. ;)

Bodom is actually pretty damn hard to categorize, kind of like Tool was when they first came around, they blend quite a few Metal styles.
I do enjoy a lot of their songs though. :D

ew, tool? and you call trivium mainstream?

Tool blended quite a few musical styles and is thus hard to categorize, the exact point I was trying to make with Bodom, nothing more.
Also, Trivium is/was Metalcore/Thrash Metal apparently, and is certainly more mainstream than what I typically listen to according to their Wiki entry. ;)

For those of you who enjoy hiphop try listening to some Justus League albums. Alot of there members have a laid back intelligent style hiphop. Give you the opportunity to listen to different members like little brother, legacy, etc...
I just got my laptop 2 weekends ago and i'm already over 300 songs... Lmao.
