I don't know how difficult this would be, but would it be possible to add an additional tag, or modify the quote tag so that instead of the gray background that we currently have it indents the quote. Just my opinion, but I think that looks cleaner.

I like how the gray background distinguishes a quote as being such, however an indent would further this as well as make it consistent with standard MLA format.

As minor an issue as this may seem, I support any attempt to comply with MLA standards.
My God...I'm still an English dork...
I'm sure they could make it so you could change the color like the spoiler tags, like [ Quote=Red/Blue/White/Green/Yellow/etc ]

Well, grammatically, long quotes (more than a single line) are supposed to be indented to offset it from the standard text of the article.

No, because quote= is used to indicate who you are quoting.
Oh sorry, then Quote=User;text=? ] I'm not exactly sure how you guys would even make a change like this, or if it's even possible. I'm sure there's a plugin somewhere for VBulletin

You can use the "color" tag within the quote tag, you know.
I'm talking about what MJ is refferring too, the color of the background, not the text.

Ooooooh! Now that is interesting.
What did you do? Spoiler it and add colour tags to overide the spoiler colour?
Yay! Go me! :p
