By own request.
Yes, but if you actually read around and had witnessed what had been going on you may done it yourself, eventually....
Who the hell are you predicting the future? Who the hell are you?!

Obviously, new guy talking here, but it seems a shame things escalated to this.

It was fueled by him, too. Sad. At least when Sov was a mod he was just a nerd.

With how often he was being trolled, it's no surprise. He may not have made all the right decisions, however it seemed that no one was willing to let him learn.
Any position of responsibility involving other people has a steep learning curve, most people demand perfection from the start.

Well it comes with the job description. It'd be like being an Assistant Manager, not just a Shift Leader.

If you're expecting perfection from any person chosen to have a supervisory role, you're going to be one sad boy in life, it doesn't come with the job description.
Edit: Parents have to learn on the fly, and they're the ones in charge of your early life.

This isn't exactly parenthood, buddy. I'm not demanding perfection, I'm just saying he messed up more than once. And I mean more than once. I know firsthand that supervising positions are the hardest, but you can't just make a double-standard and have a ban-stick in hand. Just doesn't work that way.
Edit: Hell, I'll add in here that I was almost fired from my job at DQ because I forgot to do something 'I was not trained to do'. Maybe he needed more training.

Did he learn ANYTHING in the months he was Sup Mod?

No joke. When WW temp banned all of the offending parties that one day, I seriously chilled out and let him do what he wanted. A couple of days ago, he started his power-hungry trip again and started fucking with mine and D3V's posts. He didn't learn anything from his earlier reprimand. I am not expecting 'perfection' out of him, I'm expecting a Mod. that isn't going to be abusive and an outright dick to certain people.
Sucks it had to go this way, but it's his own fault, IMO.

Eh, that's a shame. I really didn't care at all the shit he was stirring, at least it made for SOME decent reading. Either way, it's not like it's a big deal or anything...

Causing problems just because you don't like somebody/a group of people doesn't have anything to do with a learning curve, you just don't abuse your "power" over somebody that way. Well he's gone, and I'm guessing he probably won't even post here anymore because his life (aka the Computer) is much more boring now that he can't boss people around, so this thread is done, along with k_a
