I haven't played it, but my 360-fan friend has played it, and gone on about it for weeks.

The graphics look immense, and I like the fact that you can take cover.

He loves it - he sat down and bombed through it in about 8 hours. Last time he played it was a 3-hour stint of co-op with his brother.

I'd like to play it just to see if it's as good as everyone says.

That will be the next game I get. Probably won't be until around Christmas time though.

Ya well I have been playing Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis NOT FREAKING STOP FOR A WEEK. That is a great party game when everyone is sitting around drinking. But ya I wouldve had Gears of War already if it wasnt always sold out here in our shitty little store.

Here's an interesting fact.

In the next GTA game, Rockstar are using the same game engine with it that they used to make the TT game.

What're the issues with online?

I know that the maps are small, and the matches are 4v4, but that's probably due to the fact that 32 players all taking cover at once makes for a boring half hour.

Multiple cannont connect to hosts and stuff. If yo uget in a game you'll be good tho. One of the Achivments is kill 10,000 people in ranked matches. So you figure max of 4v4 if you get 4 kills per game you'd have to play 2500 games o_O

Wow. That's pretty crazy.

You'd end up playing a lot more than 2500 games, then - you wouldn't kill the whole of the opposing team single-handedly.

I'm getting it this week, no doubt. Now, I just need to convert my Live account to my new 360...

GOW is fucking SWEET. The cover system is awesome, and I love the ability to blind fire without exposing yourself. That, along with the chainsaw bayonet and the curb stomp, makes for some gorily good fun.

I went to three different Military bases here in Germany looking for that game and none of them had it... so I ended up getting a couple of boring games :(

Order it online, and pick it up at the local Post Office or something.

I now have it, but I'm not going to play it until I beat Call of Duty 2 and Splinter Cell Double Agent. I know that if I play GOW, I won't play, nor finish those games.

I'm currently playing through Double Agent myself, and it's frickin sweet. Love the choices they give you.

play GOW and you wont be able to do anything else with your time. Trust me, JR came to visit me last week and we spent about 5 hrs just playing. We didnt finish, but after looking back, we had bloodshot eyes and basically were fucked three ways from sunday. The game rocks
