I've finally saved up enough money to build my own computer. Unfortunatly, I don't know too much about computer hardware. A friend will be coming over to help put it together with me, but he's been a bit busy recently and hasn't had a chance to look over my build for any issues or things I may have forgotten. Find anything wrong?

Most the stuff I picked on word of mouth from people online.... so a lot of this is probably overkill. Meh.

Thanks.

no you need at least 1kw of power for that system

Why the hell would he need a 1kw psu?

He needs power for the video card, sound card, hdd, optical drive, and fans. I'd say 500 watts would be more than sufficient.

If you're just joking around, don't. People who don't know wtf they're buying need to have actual advice.

Anyhow, it looks okay to me. I'm not too savy when it comes to mobos, so don't just go off my opinion. You'll want extra fan(s) to fill up those fan slots on your tower.

I don't know about that keyboard... But whatever floats your boat.

I'm paying $0.15 / kWh

Or do you mean monthly? Most electric bills are between $100 and $200 depending on the size of the place. Mine usually runs around $250.

that system only draws ~180 watts max so a seasonic 330 would be fine
