It's not official, but people have been saying this for months.

I've mostly heard $200 or $250.
I'll be keeping an eye on the system for sure. And to think I was originally planning to get a PS3.

Yea, I heard $249.
But you never know what it'll be till Nintedno releases the official price. Expect it to be cheap though.

I'm not hip to this new trend in the videogame industry where suddenly everything is becoming more expensive again. If things keep going the way Sony and Microsoft are aiming the industry, we'll be right back where we were in the 80's, when Final Fantasy cost damn near 100 bucks and a single failure of a game could cost a developer their entire future. Hopefully, people will realize that playing the new GTA is not worth setting up a payment plan to afford it.
Thank you, Nintendo, for being courteous to my wallet. It appreciates your charity.

I like good graphics, but I also like simple games too. Im not a big FPS player, I really like sports, rpg, action adventure games. I just suck at FPS' so I think the Wii will appeal to me there. I will be getting a Wii before I get a 360, but not sure of the order for Wii and PS3. Those will be my first to consoles though.
Another thing you can look at, with the Wii, if you can add an externel hard drive, it wont look out of place since it would be clsoe to the size of the Wii which takes up little space. While with the other consoles, it will stand out a lot more.
See, Nintendo is sticking to what they always have and what does work, but people think power is better. As long as Wii gets some good solid games, it will be awsome. I'm looking at the PS3 for everything else, like the RPG's are usually the best for it.
It all comes down to what appeals to you, and not others. Make you choice by what you like(games) and not what has the most power or addons to boot.
Thats all I can say. I have a Gamcube, Xbox 1 and PS2 and in total for games, I own 10. I dont buy games alot, I usually rent them and end up beating them. Thus even if they would have been worth buying, there would be no point.
