Well, these are pictures of my town in the province of Saskatchewan. This was taken today at sundown, and there actually isn't much snow for a usual Canadian winter.

Anyways, post some of your towns/cities/residences/houses, etc.

There's about 10 here. Just took the best off the camera. The oldest is about 4 years old...but nothing's changed. :)

----------

First of all the house. It's the one on the end of the terraces in the middle of the picture (not the white one, on the other end):

Next there's the view out of the kitchen window (with a swallow on the bracket. :) It turns up every year, and has done since 1997). The hills in the background are the ones the pictures of the house were taken on:

Here's the view from the kitchen window looking down into the field, complete with sheepses.

Here's our bridge looking up the lane (to the main road) from the stables and down to the stables.

Looking over the gate to the stables at the hills. YOu can just about see some sheep.

And the River Irwell (passes through the stables where the goats are).

----------

Now that's proper English Countryside. :p

It is quite relaxing...unless some kind of emergency service is bombing up and down the main road.

You should see the views out of some of the other windows. It's a shame I don't have any other pictures... :(

-----------

Canadia looks mighty cold. And gruesome's room has...character. :p

How on earth do you keep your hair up DFD? Cement? :p Nice spike. :)

That hair glue defies gravity. That picture was taken at least 12 hours after I did my hair that morning. My hawk can hold it's own to a wind tunnel.

I use the same gel...but I cant find a way to separate my spikes evenly so i just have that 'messy' look thingy =(

H-K, you twist them at the tips, then blowdry the fuck out of it. Do them individually. Liberty spikes are kind of hard, but look great (if only my job would let me. :( )

Hades-Knight

Ok so you only apply gel to fingers that twist ? you dont apply on all hair to get spikes? and how do you keep them from bending? do u have to blowdry every single one 1 by 1?

Beautiful home you have there Lenny. I'd like a place in such a setting.

:p A lot of you won't realise it but that's a funny thing to say. Why come and live where I am, with chavs on all sides, when over the Pennines to the East there's the Yorkshire Dales, futher North and West there's the Lake District, South there's the Midlands, Essex, Sussex, Kent, Cornwall and Devon, Wales, Ireland due West and Scotland up there somewhere.

Some places are really breathtaking. Climb to the top of any of the Three Peaks (somewhere in the Pennines) and look around you, then you'll see beautiful landscape.

I've got photos from various people who go out walking a lot. I might post them if I find them, they really are amazing.

Well I apply it evenly through my hair, comb my hair to the side, then comb it the opposite direction, creating a nifty comb effect on the sides, then I hold the middle up at the very tips and blow dry until completely dry (both sides), then move to the next handful. I usually do a fan hawk, not the liberty spikes, those are hella hard, they get easier once your hair grows to around 8-12".

You know whats better? When you go to google maps, click on satellite. I love playing with that. Even better: Get Google Earth!

Lenny
2006-02-20, 02:29 PM
I had a lookey on Satellite. I know my house is there on normal map, but it's only today that I've found out there's a Satellite photo. They used to not have one.

And we've got Google Earth, just haven't installed it for some while. :p
