Greetings to everyone out there.
my name is Kyle and I have been working on my game for quite some time now, and ive been able to figure out any problem ive had,
like the first problem I had was how to make a dream scene where when the screen appears it is already foggy, at first when the Hero appeared it was normal and then like 1 second after turned foggy, and I didnt like that, it was semi un-professional and made even me not want to play my game, LOL

but that problem I fixed already, now my new problem, is I have a theif character, and as overly used as they all are, I still want mine to be able to steal from monsters during battle.

now my problem is.

is that I dont know how to make it happen, and I was wondering if anyone would be able to explain to me in detail how to make it where, when I am in battle and I click on the steal option my theif jumps forward or whatever and steals either money or items from the monster on a random chart, this way its not a potion every time, or if someone could make a quick game with a theif who has the steal function already there for me and allow me to just copy the function to my game, that would be fantastic and greatly appreciated..

I would even put what ever name or names if your in like a game club or whatever and I would put thanks to your group..

or just a cyber hug :D

lol either way is fine with me.

if you can help, e-mail me at [email protected]
I check that more than I would prolly check this post.

I appreciate any and ALL help, thnx

Yay! A new RM2K3 poster! :D

Right, I've managed to find you a couple of tutorials that should help:

http://www.x-rpg.net/x-rpg/modules.php?name=FAQ&myfaq=yes&id_cat=11&categories=Rm2k3+Steal+Command+Tutorial
http://www.gamingw.net/tutorials/926

Hopefully they will work. It's quarter to 11 so I haven't tried them out yet, so you'll have to be the Guinea Pig... :p

If they don't work then summon BlueCube (our Resident RM2K3 Guru) and he'll help you out.

Happy gaming!
