So i need some advice from you guys. I was dating this girl for 4 months and at the end of college second semester, we went home. Me to Long Island and her to Maine. A few weeks in she calls me up and is like we need to break up. I asked her why just to see what the reason was and she said she didnt want to be in a relationship right now. So the summer i was upset but i lived with it. When i got back to school, i found out that she cheated on me and that she had been dating this guy while we were still going out and thats why she dumped me. Again, i was pissed but ok. We still talk cause we have the same friends and this weekend coming up is the Presidential Ball of our school. This guy is coming up with 4 of his friends and they are staying the weekend. When the guy heard that i was still around he threaten to beat the crap out of me, for real no apparent reason. Well maybe cause this girl did shit with me first before him, i dont know. Anyways, the ex told me that i couldnt hang with my friends this weekend, and i said that i should go home so nothing happens this weekend. When she told me this i said fuck that and that i could hang with anybody i wanted. Now the guy said he hopes i get drunk and fight him. Now im no idiot, well on occasion i am, but i know better not to fight somebody with four friends, especially drunk. But i like hanging with all my friends, so im going to go and hang with them and if this kid starts with me, then im going to fight. I have plenty of guy friends to back me up but they are all short and skinny so they will get the shit kicked out of them. So im pretty much on my own. Im 5 8 160 and built like a brick house but i dont know if i can take 4. The most i have taken before is 3 and thats because i was drunk and they were sober so i didnt feel the punches. I need to know if having pride is worth getting the shiot kicked out of me or should i just chill back and do something else this weekend. i will let u all now that i dont care for this chick so thats not a reason for me to stay at all. Its just that i dont like when people talk trash when u dont even know the person. And i dotn take shit from anybody. So leave feedback and maybe some best wishes so that i can kick the shit out of this kid

oh they would but like my friends consist of 5 guys and 9 girls, and chicks alwayts stay together. And 2 of the 5 are going home so its mea nd 3 others. They are all skinny and wouldnt be able to fight a fly. Im going to hang with my friends and thats the end of it. Im kinda hoping o fight tho. A good ass kicking is def something im looking foward too haha

I've been in plenty of fights, and in retrospect, I regret most of them. You can't avoid all fights in life, because there will always be assholes, but if you can, I suggest doing so. There is too much out in the world to risk because of stupid quarrels. You aren't a bitch for not fighting, you are smart.

If it happens, and you are outnumbered, you better make sure you get the first shot in, and take it directly to the closest guys nose. That way, he'll tear up if you get him good, which takes out one. Then, just focus on one other guy, because as easy as it sounds, it's actually pretty tough for the other two to get good shots on you when you are squared off with one of their buddies.

I started doing kick-boxing a few years ago because i knew it would be good when im about to get my ass kicked.. + ive also been doing Tae Kwon Do And Judo For about 2 Years.. hardly ever go to Judo Anymore.. it sucks ass
just learn how to fight back/defend yourself its hell ez.. the more he attacks etc he tires out fast so just try to move out of the way of ze punches if you fight.. <333

thanks for the imput guys. The thing is im not going to throw the first punch but will def go insanef pucnhes are thrown. I will resort to anything including leg sweeps, kicks to the nuts and punches to the face and body. I actually think i would have the advantage in a 3 on 1 cause they would not throw as many punches if there buddies get in the way. The main key to a fight like this is staying on your feet.
I know that i dont need to fight but im not going to let my ex or anybody else get the better of me. I was brought up to respect myself and this is one of those cases that will test that belief. We will see what happens on Friday

IMO...if you really respected yourself you wouldn't need to resort to blows. Like Titus said, if you can avoid it do so. A fight like that really wouldn't solve anything in the end, save for making both groups even more pissed off in the end. If you do end up beating him and his friends, there's a chance he'll resort to something drastic. Stay calm and let any thrown insults just bounce off of you. Fight only when there's no way out of it.

Girls like a guy who can stay cool under pressure. I do, anyway.

ok update on the fight. Well there was none haha. The night started with me and my buddy tex and a few chicks drinking wine. We all got pretty destroyed and walked over to our presidential ball, where i saw this kid for the first time. I thought he was going to be like 5 10 180 but in all actuallity, he was 6 5 120. I laughed so hard cause my ex is only like 5 2 (with high heels) so the height difference was incrediable. After taking all of ur advise (the zelaron community) i went up and introduced myself and told him to have a nice night. He was in such shock that i did that and turned to my ex and goes, hes not a bad guy at all. Why did u tell me he wanted to fight and what made my night was when he told her that i can take him easily. His buddies were afraid of me and didnt come near me at all. I ended up hooking up with a chick on the dance floor infront of my ex and she left mad at me. I was so happy that i came back to my dorm with this chick drank more and fooled around. Oh and all my girlfriends showed up to my door and when i opened it, they apologized for the drama they had caused and i told them to leave cause i ahd company. They all approved of her, but she got really drunk so i walked her back to her room and told her we will chill tonight or something. Oh well not fists were thrown but i reallyh would have loved to fight somebody haha
