This game is fun we should have a turnament with people from the forum. we should have turnaments for every ame on the forum, it would be something to do. just an idea.

I had never played UT before, but this weekend I arranged a LAN and I tried it....I got kinda hooked aswell

I am usually a CS player ut the sheer competition in UT cannot be missed, its so fast and unbelievably unctrolloable, but thats what makes it fun, :D

I beleive we can lend one from a friend of mine. Otherwise, we'll have a small problem.

I don't think it such a big problem. The guy's on NGI seem to be cool and Darkreaper might lend me his 1 on 1 server since he will boot uto :(

1v1 is no fun, unless I'm playing someone that's really crappy ;)

Is he supposed to be good or something? :)Well, lets see, if I designed a map, I'd know it pretty well. And I'd probably have some well hidden secrets that would give me a huge advantage.

It wouldn't really matter if I was good if you get my drift.

well, he is a shock whore, a pretty good one. and he kinda played his map for a long time while I played it the 2nd time...

Knowing the map resonably well, compared to someone that hasn't played it much is an advantage, but it's not a HUGE one. Either way, I hate shock rifle fools, since it's the most abusive weapon ever made. Rocket laucher duels is the only thing that really takes skill, since you can't exactly camp with it.

shock rifle is the only weapon that needs skills! each n00b can shot an RL at your feets but who can kill you with an shock combo?

Dude, the shock rifle takes NO skills. Just fire a shock bullet, and shoot it down when it's close. There's NO way to avoid it in a cramped tunnel. The rocket launcher takes skills, because you actually have to aim, and calculate the ballistic speed, plus that the victim has a CHANCE to avoid the rockets.
