"Our great country is in a terrible downward spiral. We're outsourcing jobs, bankrupting social security, and losing lives at war. We need to focus on what's important-- paying attention to our children, our citizens, our future. We need to think about improving our failing educational system, making better use of our resources, and helping to promote a stable, safe, and tolerant global society. It's time to be smart about our politics. It's time to get America back on track."

I'll vote for him

It is.

If you're gonna vote for him, at least have a good reason to do it, don't do it just because he's Christopher Walken

I'll do it because he's not Bush.

Osama bin Laden isn't bush, does that mean you would vote for him?

Kaneda

Ya. If he ran for President I'm sure he could do a better job than Bush.
It's going to be a tough decision between Walken and Hilary. Although I doubt I'll move from the computer to actually go out and vote.

Well it sounds like a good idea. Someone with accumulated wealth putting it to good use. I've always disbelieved in a politics profession. From what it looks like, though, it doesn't seem like he'll get many votes. Come election day people are going to be looking for a way out of Iraq, and the democratic candidate is going to promise that. The Republicans know this and will most likely promise the same thing in hopes of not losing these voters. He's got a very independent stance, so who knows, maybe he'll pull necessary votes from both sides. I hate to be pessimistic but I predict he'll just pull votes from the Democratic candidate, helping to put another republican in office.

Sigh... fucking democratic party and their endless stunts. It's all politics for them. Sure, it's a political party, but they put the issues second and the ass kissing first. The stance on the issues should speak for themselves. They shouldn't need an A list actor with no political experience in order to get into the office. Sigh...

Marey Carey is a Republican too. She lost the race for Governor, though.

So that's who Christopher Walken is!!

I only recognise him because of the Fat Boy Slim video "Weapon of Choice"...what's he been in? Apart from Wedding Crashers?

undeadzombieguy

He's starred in almost 100 movies!... http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000686/

Most of them are shit, though, I really only remember him from "the deer hunter", "pulp fiction" and the fatboy slim video.

He's also hosted Saturday Night Live a bunch of times. 6 or 7, I think. Funny guy. He would have had my vote.
