turf u just have to take the high ground and when they come creeping u spring down on them ... thats what i did when i played rumble pit matches there ... and do very well! for sanctuary i think nice sniper a Br/pp and a br/shotgun or sword would do well ... also a little bit of trash talk wouldnt hurt either!! backwash get the sword or shotgun and have the team stay together or in that spire.... enlongation havent played it enough ..... termenal good sniper in the hill by the wrath .. controll of the wrath and rockets and br ppl in the sight of the sniper ... and if able to get the other sniper ... 2 is better then 1 ..... relice at start take ghost to sniper by the sniper bounce , send someone after the rockets and keep 2 at base for hog ruch .. on off hog rush and fuck them up ... make sure to get the bomb guy out early so not blown up and also if its flag just throw it off the base for teammates to get ... also the 4th person in the hog rush gets sniper and snipes rockets or anyone on the platform. gemini get sword shotgun and sniper set sniper on the statu and sword and shotgun run around and fuck ppl up ... 4 person good with smg/pr get that or brute shot . remember its better to stay together in all maps (unless your harris and blow everyone up with one rocket!!!) we should also take time and go through ever map and see if anyone has any ideas ... like putting a person ontop of the center ring in sanctuary

You need to better organize your posts mate... each of these would be easier to discuss if you put each map into it's own thread.

Strategies are always nice, but I believe the play by play descriptions we had before just won't work so well anymore. Not when you can't memorize all of these, and it's a lot of work for almost nothing to create them. The biggest thing you can do for success is commuincate constantly with your teammates. Of course there are going to be key points to the games, like the Rocket Launcher in Coagulation, or more up to date, the sniper rifles in sanctuary. A Pseudo plan may be needed, but a play by play, I doubt will be useful. One of the biggest things you could do to help win matches is a coordinated rush. I've seen other players do it, prepping themselves in a position, then waiting for their teammates to get into position(that's not to say if you see 3 of their guys die going for our flag, you can't call it early with 2 or 3 players and leave the 4th guy back, it's all about dynamic play & communication.

Yeah, and glory... what the fuck was that... That was so damn incoherent and I felt dizzy reading through it, which I stopped after the second sentence by the way... Yeah, communication and coordinated attacks is that is really needed.

Yes, Smith is 100% right. The way the new maps are set up it's really more about key points or weapons than a coordinated plan.
Turf- Holding the sniper is semi-important but it's not essential since the map has 2 different sections (Streets and back roads) and you can somewhat dictate where the battles happen.
Sanctuary- The snipers are the key here. Controlling the middle I have found also helps because it will cause their spawn points to be divided to both bases and they will always spawn in seperate areas.
Terminal - The wraith is the key... if you get the wraith and the rockets it's game over for sure.
Backwash - Get the PP/BR combo... it's fairly far apart but the BR is often overlooked because it blends in with the tree it's leaning on somewhat. The sword is also decent but it seems that there are enough trees that it is very hard to use on this level. Ranged weapons own everything here.
Gemeni - Fucking bungie only has ever gave me ONE game here so i'm not sure. The sword seems to be important as does the beam rifle but I think the most important thing here is the overshield. It's a small stage much like midship but it's more concentrated into one big room so it's a constant battle for the most part.
Relic - Snipers and holding the base... that's all their is to it. The base has too good of a vantage point for sniping to give up and having the higher ground where you can just step back when wounded is helpful.
Elongation - The shotgun works very well for holding the middle bridge that runs across the level. The seems to be the important key point as well since it allows you to access ANYWHERE on the map in just a hop skip and a jump. Battle rifles are at the bottom of the ramps leading up to the middle bridge and there are plasma pistols just below.
That's about all I can come up with right now... I'll have more specific strategies since I am the pone and you fools don't have the new maps yet.

I can't wait for you weenies to get them too. Plus it'll be nice when they integrate them into the slayer playlist because the preview playlist seems to be heavily weighted for 1 flag at terminal or relic. I'm sick of it. Also, I hope they actually play gemini sometimes. One game there in a month is ridiculous.

It definately seems as if 1 flag at terminal has 50% of the weight and 1 flag at relic has about 25%. The day is getting nearer when those will only be in the damn skirmish list though.
