For some reason I just had Babelfish translate the whole Zelaron site into German...and the results were crazy! There's so many weird letters substituted intead of real ones. Everyone's usernames changed into German...at least those that could did...and then I tried to log in and this appeared:
PFOSTEN-Anträge von den fremden Wirten werden nicht erlaubt.
Which in English translates as:
Post requests of the strange landlords are not permitted.
Who was it not that long ago translated a phrase into a language, then straight into another language etc? I wonder what would happen if we did that to the board then translated it all into english...hmm...that should keep me happy for a bit...:)

LOL! We should put that in the Zelaron Header.

E.g.:
Welcome to Zelaron.
Remember kids, post requests of the strange landlords are not permitted. Live safe!
Why can't we talk to starbgers as a kid? It makes life far more interesting! As a kid, how many people wouldn't have minded etting abducted just to see what the experience was like??

So what is weird about your translation? Is it wrong or something?

Try it.
Translate the forum into some weird language, copy a bit and translate it back to English. See what happens.
For best results take one piece of text, eg this post, translate it into language after language after language and then back into english and see what it says.

There's been a thread about this before.

Yes, Thanatos, Lenny has already noted that.
He just means what would happen if we did this whole damn site and read the results. It'd be soooooooooooooooooooooooo funny that I'd have an orgasm............................... dot dot dot.....

Where, Penny_Bags? He said, "Who was it not that long ago translated a phrase into a language, then straight into another language etc?".............................. he described just what happened in another thread right there. Seemed reasonably obvious to me but I guess I was indeed wrong.
