I'm going down a street here in my local area, known as LoneTree. I pull up at a stoplight next to this weak-ass Dodge Stratus with a few too many flimsy torque impulses going to his brain... Revving his engine up and all, thinking he can match up to my Integra. So obviously I have no choice but to make him taste my cold air intake system flying out of the ass of my car. So I smoke him, and this fucking bitch ass cop pulls ME over. Why? He even states it, appearantly I have "all these stickers on my car," and thus between me and the Stratus, both going over 60 in a 35 MPH, I am the obvious threat that must cease to exist, even though there is ANOTHER cop car behind him, they both go after me.
So he tells me I can take it to court, to which I reply "See you soon."
What a bitch.

Do you get fined on the spot in America?? Or are you taken to the Magistrates where they decide whether to put points o your licence, fine you, and/or stop you driving for a time???

The bill comes later or you can choose to take it to court. Which I most certainly will.
Oh yeah, and the bitch looked like Drew Carrey.

You can't take them to court.... You were speeding, they pulled you over... gl hf, you have no case.

Bull shit if you can't. My government teacher would always tell us to take that shit to court unless it was way unreasonable. He said chances are they drop the fine, or at least reduce it.

Ya, if you take it to court, and the cop doesn't show up (seems to be about 50/50) they drop the case. If you take it to court with a lawyer (usually about $25-50), they'll usually just throw out the case because the court would rather just drop it than pay to prosecute and take the time for it.
If you get a lawyer, though, make sure it's one that advertises for speeding tickets or at least traffic violations. Those are the cheap ones, and since they do the same shit all the time, they know what they're doing. There's a ton of them in Arlington.

I'll refer you to Bob's post, which was exactly what I was planning on doing, plus I want to waste that snotty little punk's time.

Thats really shitty. I hate n00b cops... My very first time being pulled over was because I thought my brights were turned off, when they wern't.

I really don't see how you have any chance of winning this if the cop actually shows up. The other car won't matter. What will matter is that you got pulled over for 60+ in a 35.
This from the guy with the 120mph avatar.... yeesh

If he shows up I probably wont win, but there is a chance. What harm can it cause?

Depends. The biggest thing would be your fine could be increased becuase of court costs. But, I suppose it's worth it.
