This is what i've got so far:

Not sure what gloves to use.....and i have the life sc's, but not the Pcombats yet, gonna take a little while longer cause i spent most of my gear on this stuff.

10 pcombats can cost up to 30 soj (if you trade from sites like d2jsp). You're not going to be able to hit the 125 fcr bp, so you probably want to hit the next fcr bp closest to it.

You need to have 75 fcr to hit the second to last bp. 40 + 20 = 60. If you use mage fists or trangs gloves, youll have 80. Or if you wanna ditch the shako for a fcr/fhr pala circ, then use bloodfists for FHR. Another option would be to use 2 10% fcr with some sexy mods such as + to str, life, or dext. That way you can keep the shako and still use whatever gloves you want. It's really up to you though.

I've been lookin at a skill planner and it doesn't seem at all possible to get even close to 11k dmg w/ hammers. Please explain. I've got 14 overall added points. 10 to combat skills and maxed hammers and synergys. What else is there?
Unless the skill planner is pre 1.10, which is likely, but still...

I had a nice conversation w/ an pally last night. So I'll be able to reach 12k atleast.
Can I get a stat points run through?
Str= depending on enigma?
Dex=?
Vit=
Eng=? I was thinking like till I had 500 mana?

I always thought it was enough str to use enigma, and enough dex for max block with holy shield, and then the rest into vita. I dont think you put anything into energy.

At lvl 79 my hammerdin has 9952 damage with Hota and maxed blessed hammer and synergies. Gear as follows:

Templar coat
Shako
Hota///Wiz
HoZ
SOJ x2
Trang Belt
Silkweaves
Mara's
Magefist

One def aura GC, one offensive aura GC, no combat GC

lvl 80 will be able to wear spider, but w/o GCs he is not going to get much more damage. Maybe some crafted gloves would help.

No points in energy, enough for str to wear armor and dex for blocking - rest in vitality. This is my first hammerdin, he is able to "self-rush" through Hell but he sucked in the maggot lair. Had to get zon to clear it out.

With no points in energy does mana run down fast when you tele/mass hammer etc..? Do you need full belt of mana pots, or can you go with like 1-2 rows of mana?

He is fine with one row of mana pots. I got one row of antidotes and the others are life pots. He does not have mana problems except when he runs into mana leechers.

Ya, I'm lvl 58 and I don't have problems w/ mana. Do you think tearhaunch boots would be better than the silks, since they add to vigor?

That's a good idea to test. If I can find a pair on a mule tonight I will do that and see if my damage goes up significantly. Would lose the "plus 10% to mana" from silks but mana does not seem to be a problem. I probably don't have a pair since I cleaned the mules out...

If you don't care about your paladin looking like a faggot, use a BP nigma. only a 30 str req. You'll need barely any pointsinto str maybe even none depending on your charms.

The dext needs to be enough to get max block. This amount will be based on how high your holy shield + chance to block is. Remember, the less points you put in holy shield, the more points in dext you'll need. Naquadah is level 94 and has lvl 1 hs. He still doesn't need a lot of dext. But i use 10x pcombats. He also has 16 unused skill points. Which means if you wanted to put a lot ofpoints in it and level high, you could.

Mana is a NONO!!!!! Never, EVER waste points on mana, especially on a hammerdin. There are a few reasons for this. For one, you can put a point or two in prayer. It'll greatly improve your mana recovery rate. I just went and checked on my pala. Level 1, without any + to skills, incrases your mana recovery rate by 300%. IT also heals. You can also use mana pots. Every unique belt will have 16 slots to put mana pots on. Usually though, for baal botting i do 50-50 health and rejuve : mana. Your third and best bet would be to invest one point in Redemption. If you are not going to be hardcore pvp, then this is basically a must. You're always going to be killing monsters, which means tehre are always going to be new sources of live. Turn redemption on and wiat for it to work on some corpses, and you gain massive ammounts of mana AND life back. Naquadah uses this, and it's saved me so many times from death. It's also saved me a shit load of gold.

The rest of your points go into vita. A hammerdin is useless if it cant take the massive hits from super unqiues in chaos sanc, or baal runs.

Cta is the most godly smiter wepon. you need a six socket eth glitch zerker, and use zod, zod, vex, ohm, lo, cham. Then put it in your cube with a hel rune and a tp, and you'll have the most godly transmuted weapon ever.

[edit]So, I was browsing around ebay on my break today, and I happened upon this unique pally ammy that I had never seen before. I can't remeber the name(even though I meant to :rolleyes: ) and the account has sold. But I pretty much remeber the stats, there were +2 pallidan skills, +1 (O/D?) auras, + dex(?), and like 15 or 25 resist. Heh, so thats a pretty good description. Any idea what it was, cause I'd like to find one and try it on.

A friend on last night let me try on some tearhaunchs and they didn't do anything.. Ya they made my vigor go up +2 but it didn't help my attack, even though it should have cause I then proceeded to put points into vigor, and then my attack went up. thats crap.

As I suspected, the mules got cleaned out and I have not been able to find those boots to try. Right now, my pally is maxed on vigor, concentration and blessed aim. I have been dumping points into his shield and I put one into that aura that can help heal - can't remember the name of it. His damage is 11K. I want to build a duress armor for the merc but finding an eth 3 socket armor has proven to be elusive.

Have to admit, this coming from a strictly zon player, it is nice to stand toe-to-toe in Hell with Diablo and shit on his face, even with that red breath of death hosing over me.

Try killing uber D with him.

My lvl 95 pala had to heal twice with 4 other people in the game. I wasnt using any fire + max res or sorb gear. Too lazy.

Synergies only work for actuall points you put into the skill. I thiink there is a synergy glitch with items that have charges though, IE: marrows.

So in conclusion I tell you this because I was led to believe that you could w/ a fair amount of ease reach a dmg lvl of 11-13k w/out or w/ a small amount of combatGC.
* I have 1 offensive gc. :rolleyes: never thought id make a pally to use it.

You need to hit at least 75 FCR. Since you aren't going to hit 125, that's the next closest fcr bp. 40 from hoto, 20 from mage fists, 20 from arachs = 80. You can use 2 soj's, 2 bk's, or one of each. Either way you'll have 75.
