Always seems to be a problem, but a good mock-up of what it may looklike (somewhat).

Ya, except for the fact that it's going to end up looking nothing like that.

Except that thing looks like a peice of shit.

I'm sure Sony could come up with a much more attractive design.

That looks like a camera. A cheap Sony camera that breaks constantly.

Looks more like a camera case to me. Meh.

I thought it was a projector...

They should stick with the Pstwo style, as small as possible.

Yeah but I think the loaded may look like that, all the clunkyness, doubtful. Ps"two" like I just bought a few months ago is great, so so small.

Yikes, Sony can do much better than that. I bet that is a photoshopped photo...try saying that fast. I never read anywheres that the PS3 will be UMD capable, I thought it was CD/DVD/Blue-Ray disks only? can someone confirm this.

Nobody can confirm anything, Sin. Sony hasn't said anything but Cell and Blu-Ray. For all we know, it could have a microwave built into it.

That would be freaking ace, microwave <3.

But seriously, slot loading UMDs? :(

Didn't they say that they weren't going to use their cell architecture anymore?

Raziel

When the hell did Sony say that?

I'm not doubting you, because I've already done that once and been called on it in regards to Sony losing that rumble technology lawsuit against Immersion Inc. However, if you could provice links, that would be awesome.

Hrm...

This (http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20030423-332.html) article links this (http://www.designchain.com/coverstory.asp?issue=spring03) article, but the first is discrediting the second. I also found some conversation in a few forums about it, but nothing convincing.

If it's not more widely known, then it's probably just a rumor that I heard and didn't investigate.

That would be devistating to all Sony fans. They are on the path to greatness.
