I've never completed FFX so...bear with me if this is wrong...
He doesn't actually fight his dad when he (Jecht) is a person...yes???
So this is one of the times he fights Sin...yes???
Which time...I haven't played the game for a long time as well so...if all the battle themes are the same, then my bad...
Here's s ite with lots of FFX midi downloads...maybe it is on here...

That's "Otherworld". I have the MP3, I'll have to upload it somewhere.
Edit: Actually found it online in one of my video game music bookmarks. At least I don't have to upload it:

Would you happen to have the song I was talking about?

It's the same song, heh. If you read the lyrics it basically foreshadows parts of the game, which works well as a good intro song. At the beginning you can't really hear the lyrics because of the announcer though, which kinda defeats the point, but that's no big deal.

So wait, that song is also in another part of the game besides the beginning?

Yeah, it's the song at the last boss. Well, one part of the last boss, anyway. Which is rather fitting, since Jecht is Sin, so he gets the same song.
