lol, why?

Its old, played out it was funny when they first enabled you to do that easily, now its not.

I'm sick of hearing that sound when I don't have a message to attend to.

All I hear are beeps on my end O_o. I remember i used to have a sound when i was on AOL a few years back. I wonder if other people can still hear it.

Probly picked up from stupid AIM tones.

What are you talking about, anyway?

People who use IMsend.wav and IMrcv.wav to signify their entrance or exit of AIM, rather than the door opening and door slam.

...What? I think I disabled other user's sounds.

Yea, there are people that I like to notice signing on so I don't wanna disable all of them, I'm just simply blocking every single user that doesn't use the normal tones.

So uh, just set a permanent alert for that person signing on, like the "newmail" sound. Very distinct.

You're weird. You sent me some sort of message pertaining to this, and I had no idea what you were talking about. After reading this I went thorugh my preferences and noticed no such thing as to what my sign on/off notification is.. Still don't know what you are talking about...

It's not just him. I get it too whenever you log on or off, Titus. Instead of the regular door, it makes the sound is makes when someone sends a message.

I'm on Trillian 99% of the time, though, so I don't give a damn.

I don't see the option anymore either, I think we've turned stupid.

He's got a point.

Personally I just disabled all of AIM sounds. Nothing startles me more than plasting music, when suddenly that fucking chime makes my eardrums explode.

You just gotta disable my sounds then. I don't think it exists anymore..
