Funny, as soon as I finished Un'goro, I suddenly lost the urge to play WoW anymore.

Exactly what happened to me.

Why does Un'goro have this effect?

Un' Goro is actualy pretty easy. Just make sure that you have a decent group down there and you can easily get 10+ quests done in 2-3 hours.

I went there at 17. I was a ghost, but I went there nonetheless. I did it to prove to Zhenya that ghosts don't die from falls.

how would ghost die from falls...? they are already dead...

Zhenya claimed that they did.

Randuin

They do, put speedhack to 1700% and run around jumping hills. You just need to fall fast enough long enough for ghosts to die. They also die from fatigue in water.

WetWired

Exactly. After completing Un'goro, it was too depressing to continue the old grind.

Ah. I dunno, if you want 'old grind', I've been running Guildies thru instances since I hit 60.

The flavor of the week has been Maraudon, mainly.

Under normal circumstances then. I don't think using speedhack to slam into the ground counts.

Just dinged 59. Have a feeling I will be 59 for a long time to come.

Randuin

Well... If you're curious at all. Using speed at run speed 1700%. If you jump while running and then you land smashed into a tree. You die.

Then really, you aren't dying from falling, you're dying from running.

Either way, I was right and Zhenya was wrong.

Randuin
2005-03-16, 11:21 PM
Well, when you're falling, you're not dying from falling. You're dying from the force that the ground exerts onto you when you impact into it with tremendou momentum.

The same is with into trees and such.

You lose, ghosts can die.

I never said ghosts couldn't die. As a matter of fact, I agreed that ghosts could die from fatigue. I've done it myself.

Falling in the game cannot kill you if you are a ghost.
