I know. I am hooked on my SNES. This is about my ACTUAL system though. My system stopped working. Well sorta. It only works when you maneuver the adapter plugin port ever so carefully, then you gotta get it to stay that way whilst you play. It's really a pain, and was wondering if anyone could help me in fixing that. I realize I might have to take apart the system. I just want to play my old skool games really really badly. Thanks

Maybe duct tape it in the proper position?

Just FYI, that doesn't have anything to do with the durability of the SNES. There's just a short in your wire.

No. I'd prefer not to eat a fatty steak that tastes of unwashed clothing and Dove hand lotion.
Yeah, it always leaves an odd "axe effect" aftertaste.

Well yeah, you threw it off topic, but I wouldn't expect Raziel to be one of the people to keep it going, especially since the thread is about a Nintendo product.

Why? I solved his problem already. Did you not read?
Get on Ebay, buy a new AC adapter. Problem solved.
Therefore the purpose of this thread is a moot point. His issue was that he had a short in his AC adapter cable. His solution is to buy a new one. Problem solved, issue addressed.
Therefore, this thread should have been closed the very second after I posted. However, seeing as how I do not moderate this section, I cannot do so. In light of this, I chose to have a friendly round of spam, seeing as how the thread had no other purpose at that point.
Maybe try removing that large wooden pylon from your colon one of these days, King?

So just because you posted there was nothing else worth posting in this thread pertaining to the topic? That's pretty narrow of you Raziel.

There isn't anything else that anyone could have posted with pertinece to the topic! He asked for assistance, assistance was granted and the solution was presented. What Draco described was a short in the AC adapter wire. Bob pointed this out, I posed the solution to his problem. What else could have possibly been said?
Maybe aliens zapped your SNES from outer space and are currently using its processing capabilities to transmit pictures of Jesus onto burritos in San Diego. That's why it only works if the cable is held a certain way. It interrupts their transmissions!
It seems like a pretty cut-and-dry situation to me. It has nothing to do with the fact that I posted, it's the fact that a solution was presented and his question was answered. Anyone could have said it and it would make no difference.
