Post your future job.

I currently think that being a Computers Teacher for middleschool or JRhigh or even Highschool would be cool.

That is if everything stays the same, like the learning course.

RIght now in 7th grade all we do is type, and do projects on Microsoft Word, excel, basically learn the whole microsoft office.

Which i already know basically everything about MSOffice, considering i've got it installed :p

Et toi?

Sad how many people are trying to go into some sort of computer industry.

I'll probably end up in some sort of science field.

I was also thinking contractor.

If i take lessons from my dad in my early adulthood, then i can definitly make a quarter mill a year in my 20's.

Not kidding either. With the ways Cali is going, they will need some more advanced windows and roofs. ( For those of you who do not know, my father is a worker for some industry, he contracts people roofs and windows and sidings, floors, heating and cooling).
Its a very good job and you make TONS of cash. Beats the hell out of my teaching idea. Fuck that.

Good job changing your mind 2 days later. How about focusing on school for now. Its always good to have high hopes but a quarter million a year in your 20s? Your view on how easy life is makes me want to smack you upside your head.

You should have been more general.

I am not the only person like this. Its just that a lot of people i've been around(adults mostly) make life look easy.

I know there are hard times but thats why you mainly have to take the good with the bad. Me for instance sucks at a lot of things, thats when i realize how good i am at some things.
I didnt change my mind, i just thought that being a teacher isnt the best thing. You get paid salary, and a second grade teacher gets paid the same as a high school calculus teacher. It just doesnt make sense.

IMO it's easier to teach AP History than the second grade.

I'm currently working in Grade 10 Pre-IB, which is a huge step up from your average academic classes.

Courses for Grade 11+12 :
HL History (World History, 20th century History)
HL Biology
HL English
SL Math (Pre Calculus, Calculus, Geometric Principles)
SL TOK (Philosophy)
SL French
Sl Economics

Sl is a standard IB level course. HL is a Higher level IB course.

After all of this work I suppose I'm looking more towards a career in business/sociology/law

I guess not everything that comes out of the d2 forums is completely retarded.

International Baccalaureate is partially a gimmick. I know someone who did it, but wasn't accepted to the college he wanted to go to because they didn't care about European standards.

Which college was he trying to get into?

You still need good marks to make it into a decent college/university from IB, it's not a free ticket. But, if I was to look at a university in Canada or somewhere in Europe, they regard it quite highly. As well, it does prepare you much better than a regular program. Wether it's a waste of time or not, I suppose two years from now when applying to universities I will find out.

its not easy nick :P it requires so much work to be a contractor, i have a friend who is an apprentice contractor, and he can only just hand the work and he's being on the apprenticeship for like 1 out of 5 years
