From own experience...it's easier to download a program that takes any music you have and converts it to sheet music that you can print off...

Though most of them only work with midis...

Hard to read tab when you play an instrument that plays notes on a stave...though what does mjordan play??

Well, I don't really play anything, but I've been messing around with our piano lately, and just trying to learn how to play some stuff. I don't know too much about music. I can somewhat read it, but I haven't really had any formal music lessons.

Once you know what the notes on the stave are...and the corresponding ones on the piano are...then it's not too hard...

But then you need to learn about note lengths etc...

If you really want to learn how to play...there are lots of teach yourself books out there that are pretty good...
