Name: Elephant
Rated: R for disturbing violent content, language, brief sexuality and drug use - all involving teens.
Genre: Drama
Starring: John Robinson, Alex Frost, Elias McConnell, and Eric Deulen
A movie from the mind of Gus Van Sant, the guy who made Good Will Hunting. The movie is about a day in high school that should've been normal, but when two teens decide to get revenge, things turn lethal.
The killers are Alex and Eric. They have been mistreated and made fun of and have had harrassment. Today they decided they won't take it anymore. They go through the school shooting classmates and a few teachers while John tries to stop people from going back in the school.
Brilliant scenery and excellent taste in music. Elephant is a pleasure to see and hear.
The acting itself is good. Almost all the characters were just teens picked up at random to star in this movie. A thing to note is that almost all characters' names are the same as their real life first name.
The plot is simple: a school shooting. But it works very well.
Though it may not sound all the good, I suggest checking it out. The only problem I had with it was the walking scenes which were pointless, in my opinion.
Overall: 5 out of 5.
