i got call of duty, but don't have bf1942 so i can't compare but the first time i played call of duty it was awesome, it is so realistic, and it is a fun multiplayer, i don't really play much anymore since i got WoW but it is fun and you don't even need the CD to play multiplayer

well i dont have call of duty but i used to play bf 1942 when it first came out... i LOVED it

I palyed the demo but it ran too slow on my pc.........only have 256mb ram and it was laggy as fuck on lowests ettings

I have both. I liked COD's single-player better and liked BF1942's multiplayer better.
