Fahrenhype 9/11 is a much better movie. It reveals Michael Moore's distortion of the facts.

This movie fucking blows... I'd rather chop off my dick slowly with a cheese grater than watch this cock festival.

Could not have put it better.

He actually wanted to send free copies to every household that had a registered voter, but the producers (Not sure who?) wouldn't allow it. He even said he would cover the costs, but he still couldn't get it done. Maybe this is his way around it?

It's funny how people are so quick to call Michael Moore an ignorant pig or whatever. He's said all over the place that he doesn't expect people to agree with him, he just wants to express himself. So, stop being an oppressive fascist :haha:

Please use the reply button correctly. It seems like you are replying to me with that post, when I said nothing of the sort deserving it..

Smartass...

And also, I reiterate... I'd rather forcefully insert a wooden cooking spoon into my own urethra than watch that boring ass movie.

I believe its refered to as propaganda. More specifically, BS.

Good movie. Well made, and if you don't like it don't watch it.

Personally, Bush shouldn't be able to run a lemonade stand, though somehow hes running a country...Hopefully not much longer.

What exactly are you people saying is untrue in Fahrenheit 9/11? I mean, I can't prove the interviews, but you can't disprove them either, really. Which "facts" are you arguing about.

Titusfied
2004-10-26, 07:08 PM
Then by that means, what exactly are you arguing is true?

I'm asking what everyone is saying isn't true.

Because Michael Moore hates america.

I honestly don't really care what is true in that movie and what isn't true. That documentary didn't change my opinion on who I'm voting for. There were a lot of suspectly connected coincidences that were linked to one another, but as to their validity, I'd be surprised if 2% of them were of real value.

That may be, but it doesn't mean that what he says can't be true. I want to know specifically what you (not you particularly Sovereign, just generally) are saying isn't true in the movie besides the interviews, since we don't have much to prove or disprove them besides the movie.

Well, if you're decidedly set about who you're voting for no matter what happens, then your opinion is obviously not going to be changed. But other than saying that only some percent of the movie was real, lets see what exactly you're saying was false about the movie.

That is half my point. I don't even remember anything from the movie that was remotely important enough to remember, since most of it was speculation based on loose connections.

The thing that entertained me was the fact that Bush got egged on his way to the whitehouse the first time ;)
