There's few on this forum that even plays this shitty game at all. Among them is WetWired. You can try PMing him instead of posting in this forum that no one cares about ;)

No, I don't really play on Sakray. I have the obligatory single char for checking out updates in advance, but mostly I play on Chaos.

Isn't the Chaos server hella packed? I think it's the most populated server on there, and I would play other games, but my computer is shit. -.-'

Chaos server is fine. In fact, I'd say more people is good. More people to party with, and more people to find and upgrade those rare items you're looking for.

What level is your best character at? I'm trying out a super novie right now. Maybe I'll try out chaos later tonight.

Wowness. I'm only at 32/10. I have to get to 45/10 to be a super novie. I sort of want to make a merch, have you tried one yet?

Merchs are usefull, but IMO, you should make a battle-oriented char first. Mages make good first chars, because you don't have to constantly buy new equipment for it (since if you get up close and personal, you're screwed regardless, and damage is not dependent upon your equipment). Of course, you have to party or be a quick study on hit-and-run tactics...

Is a swordie better than a mage? Or would mage be the way to ultimately go for a good first character?

Well, swordy is easy but potentially expensive, mage is harder, but potentially cheaper. IMO, your leveling speed is mostly dependant upon your resources, then on your experience with the class and build. If you can handle playing a mage first, it gives you opportunity to start bringing in the income that you'll need to raise your other chars. At least, that's the way it worked for me.

Kick ass. Thanks for the info, my next character well probably be a mage, then.
