Internet keep getting cut off and reconnect

I live in the dorm and I am the only one having this problem, so I am pretty sure it's my computer, I checked the lines they are not loose or anything, anyone have any ideas?

Overheating modem? Do you have a wireless router with the same frequency as a wireless phone? Who knows... and since you didn't mention any specs, no help for you ok?
