Hey all, my friend was telling me about either a genre or a band called "Velvet Underground", and i was wondering if anyone here could fill me in a little about this. It sounds catchy and all but i was just a bit curious.

They're an old avant-garde band. Never really heard them, though.
A genre. Haha.
Well after "UK Garage" anything is possible.
