Ok, here are some things I love and hate about this game, so here goes:

Things I LOVE

Fast levelling. Seriously, you level fairly quick in comparison to other MMORPGs (from what I hear, I only played Lineage II). I went from 1-14 in ~12 hours.
Experience rewards. You don't really feel much "grind", as quests are the main experience givers in this game. You may have to kill a bunch of monsters of a certain type to get quest items from them, but you at least have a purpose in doing so, other than merely gaining experience.

Granted, you may feel more "grind" later on (I only reached level 16 on my highest, as I made 5 different characters just checking things out).

Dying. This game is very forgiving about getting killed. When you die, you don't lose any experience or anything, you merely raise at the nearest Graveyard as a Ghost, and you go retrieve your corpse. The best part is, most monsters can't see your Ghost, so you don't have to worry about being "naked killed".

If for some reason, you want to be resurrected AT the Graveyard, there is a
Spirit Healer nearby who will do so for a moderate sum of Experience.

Transportation. A lot of places are interconnected by various Flight Paths you can take for a small cost (typically 1 Silver, 10 Copper). Saves
you a fair bit of walking, and gives you a great view of the landscape.

Inns. This is honestly the NIFTIEST idea in existence. This is to somewhat balance power-gamers and people who play somewhat casually. What it does, is any time spent 'resting' in an Inn (or major City), after a while you will gain the 'Rested' state, which gives you 200% Experience from monsters killed! The best part is, it still accrues if you logged out in any of these locations. The longer you rest, the 'longer' your Rested state lasts. The way it works, is that it sets a marker on your Experience bar, and when your experience passes that marker, you go from 'Rested' to 'Normal' (100% Experience). That's fucking great.

That's all that stood out in my mind screaming, "OMFG 1337 H4X!!!!!111". Now, for my dislikes:

Chances to hit. Seriously, there's something wrong when I have a MAXED skill with my Two Handed Sword, and I'm missing monsters 2-3 times in a row that are my level. It's worse if they're higher level than me...
Monster spawning. If an aggressive monster spawns right on top of you, they immediately go right for you. That SUCKS, because you're usually fighting off a monster or two already...
In PvP, enemies can see a Rogue in 'Stealth' mode. That's kind of pointless...

Once again, that's about all I can think of for that list. This game is fucking great, and I will be on the Open Beta and definitely getting this when it goes Retail.

Post any opinions you may have, or other gameplay questions people may have...

OH!

Here's another thing I love:

MAIL. You can mail an item/money to another player, or just mail a message for a measly 30 Copper. The downside is that you can't mail from Alliance to Horde, but that's story-related.

1 thing I hate, is that there is almost NO way to communicate from Horde to Alliance. You speak different languages (mostly), you can't whisper them AT ALL, and whatnot. You just can't do it. I understand for the Role Playing value of the game, but still... :(

I haven't seen much of the Guild system, so I can't really comment much on this.

I agree with all of your likes and dislikes Volls. In addition I would like to see more detail on the minimap. Maybe have areas you have not entered a different shade. It would help in finding where you need to go for quests and such. I would also like to be able to zoom farther out in the minimap. At times itÂ’s hard to tell if I am going the right way without pausing to view the world map and my location within it. Still a great game. I would pay to play it in its current state!

I don't know about you, but I got quite a few random crashes. Most had to do with 'Movement Exceptions', and most of those were with our huge-ass raid in the last hour of the Stress Test.

It's still buggy, but a good game. This game already owns the hell out of Lineage 2 in my opinion, and it's not even to Open Beta.

I will be looking forward to a Zelaron Guild, if we get enough people on the game...

Will it perhaps cost lots of money each month to play, like Lineage II?

Lineage II was only about $15/month.

This will be 12-15, from what I hear.

One thing I really dislike is how it is so similar to EQ and so different than Warcraft.

Well, you're trying to take a game that's set in a Strategy game setting, and turn it into a MMORPG. You're going to lose some of the same feeling you get from a Warcraft game.

Also, if you manage to be a Guild leader, you may get back the 'tactical' feel of the game when you're coordinating a War or Raid.

Think about this: If they made Diablo into a Strategy game (somehow), wouldn't it feel less like Diablo and more like Warcraft?

What I hate about it is that the stress test ended.

Yeah, but that wasn't a gameplay feature, so it wasn't included. ;)
