View Full Version : [Math] Power of X
I am doing some Calc AP homework, and for some reason I can't remember how to get X if its the power of a number like....
a=10
a^x = 100
I know x=2 but mathematicaly I cant figure out how to get that answer, I keep seeing how then forgetting its annoying lol, can anyone help?

Logarithms.
Log (subscript a)10 = x.

I've taken Algebra 2. I'm taking 10th/11th grade classes, so that's why.
That's something you don't know and you're in AP Calc? Wow.

You meant to say, "I skipped two grades." as that is proper grammar.

Heh, that isn't that bad. Just wait until you take transforms. Then you forget all that trivial Calculus, until you brush up on it at least.

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

Like LaPlace, Fourier, and Z-Transforms. There are a shit load of them, and they are extremely in depth and difficult to understand, at first at least.

Screw that I am taking Pre Calc and a business based Calc which doesn't have Trig in it. I depise math now, since the last 3 years of high school math I have had shitty ass teachers.
