Hmmmm, I think I might be putting too much pressure on myself, but I've recently pre-ordered GTA:SA and HALO 2. GTA ships on October 28, 2004, and HALO ships on November 9, 2004.

Do you think I allotted enough time to beat GTA by the time HALO arrives. I already know for a fact that I will not be playing another game once HALO arrives, I just hope that 10 days or so will be enough.

Also, I'm taking a full course load of graduate studies starting the end of September, which means that Mid-terms and Finals will be crowding around both of those dates, and will also prohibit my playing time.

I hope my eyes weren't bigger than my playing fingers. ;)

October 28th? What the fuck, pushed back another week?

I preordered GTA:SA about a month ago and will soon preorder MGS3.

Hmm, that was the date I could remember, maybe it is October 18th? I'll have to double check on that. If that is the case, I'll be fine.

Then again, we all know HALO 2 will get pushed back to 2007 anyway... :weird:

GTA:San Andreas. Here is a recent thread I made about some of the upgrades in the game:

If you haven't played any since II, you should definitely get the double pack, which is III and Vice City. They are totally kickass.

if you are a good gamer then you might beat gta before halo come.
off topic titus when you order a game from them do you need credit card or you pay them when they deliver.

Usually, they aren't C.O.D.'s, (Cash on delivery), so you'll need a Credit Card. Although I use a Check Card, which is just as good.

I didnt enjoy GTA 3 / VC a bit, these games are fucking boring, gameplay is too linear, i mean you get bored after playing for 5mins....... go here do this go here do this, i mean cmom.......i wish they were online

Eh, I don't think they are all that linear. I mean, you don't have to do the missions in any particular order. The only thing linear about it, is that you have to do just about all the missions, which is the same in any game. You have the freedom to go around town, kill shit, chase cars, do stunts, get a high police rating, call in prostitutes, do about 200 side missions, find Hidden Packages, which means intense roaming in the game. There is nothing linear about it, in my opinion.

If you like fast, intense games that give you the freedom of camera angles, movement, fighting ability, a wide variety of guns, missions, side missions, and a Tony Montana, Scar Face based type of game, you will love these. GTA made me a huge fan, and I honestly didn't think I would really like them.

Who cares Titus? You can always just play SA later, it's not like you've got only a few months to live.

Kekeke.

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

Well, from the looks of HALO, if HALO 2 is at all comparable, which I know it will be, I won't be playing any games for a good 8 months or so. By that time, I'll probably never want to play San Andreas again, so I was hoping I can beat it before that loss of time occurs.

Were did you pre-order your games from, I'am looking into pre-ordering Armored Core Nexus, which ranks higher on my "games to waste a year at" list than Halo 2.

MGS3, God of War, Mortal Kombat: Deception, GTA: SA are the best games comin out for PS2, Halo is strictly Xbox no?

Titusfied

Yes it is strictly XBox. I couldn't imagine playing HALO on a different controller. I wish GTA:SA was coming out on XBox though.. Oh well.

well i don't know if you can beat gta sa because i heard 1 map of gta sa is like the whole vice city map and there are 3 maps on gta sa and i also heard there is like 150+ hours to play

Titusfied
2004-08-27, 06:31 PM
Yeah, that is very true. This is a very large world, and I don't think a few weeks will cut it, especially since I'll probably only play for an hour or so a day, if that. We will see!

Anyway, is that 150+ hours of gameplay your guess, or is that the opinion of the actual gameplay?

iceman887
2004-08-28, 01:31 PM
not a guess, but a fact, just serched about it, at first i just read it on some forum but now it is real, just search like how many hours of gameplay there are. there are a bunch of websites saying it has been confirmed there are at LEAST 150 hours of gampelay

so, i highly doubt you will finish lol, sry to tell you
