i wont spend that much time on zelaron in the next weeks because of these reasons:

- Some people dont like me posting too much
- I work the two last weeks of august
- I'm painting Warhammer figurines :grin:
- I try to spend less time on my comp (i go play at dads laptop instead :D)
- I play tennis with my mother (only person i can beat ;)...)

Ill try to visit zelaron a few times every day (but i can't promis anything -.-)
And when i visit ill look at the d2-section first and if i have time ill try to read some of the other threads.

I have a hard time defending you kagom when you act like a total a****** to someone because they have trouble with english. I am really sick of some of you people (Not directed at anyone in particular) with your insulting comments and constant making fun of people. His english is bad; so what, Fuck you for making fun of him for it more then once or twice, to a point where hes considering "posting less" which often times (but maybe not in this case) means just leaving zelaron all together. Its like a damn school yard and you guys pick on the people that are easiest and dont fight back or fight back poorly; the ones you deem different whether because of a language or sexuality and you redicule them constantly.

I try to at least semi-help kagom with the situation and he turns around and starts bashing on the next target; to try to fit in or go with everyone else? Some of you people need to grow up. I would much rather get rid of a well known member with 1000+ posts that a lot of people like and a long history who refuses to stop making fun of people like this then to see geekster or someone else like him leave because people are insulting him too much. We should be making people want to stay, try to make zelaron a bigger community and some of you just want to get rid of people you dont deem worthy. And if you are going to reply or tell me "Well I was just kidding" then you better make sure you have not made fun of him/them more then once or twice because after that its not kidding anymore. He obviously dosent like some of what you people are saying, so much so that he says he will take a break from posting because you guys dont like him posting too much? Also I know he went on a posting spree at one time but I know other members that have so dont even try to use that excuse as your hating reason because most of you just talk about how bad his english is. I am not even going to go into how inappropriate pennys comments were if what geekster is saying is true because that is a huge topic on its own (joking or not).

Hes sorta doing this not to make you guys mad at him anymore (Actually doing something FOR you guys after all this?) (taking some time off?), and here you are fucking happy about it, no apologys at all. God that really pisses me off, from what I read and my impressions of this situation. The worst part is, I think the majority of the Zelaron regulars are like this although I am not certain, a great deal of them are. You guys never know when enough is enough. Again, you are not getting it. Main point = Do not make other people leave Zelaron. Lets say there are two people geekster and someone else, and you hate them both and you flame them to a point where they quit. Slim, I would honestly think and Hope you would at least get a HINT That he does Not like it and he wants you to stop meaning it Is offending him in some way. I've already said that if it's bothering him that much, a simple PM would lax the comments, the fact that he hasn't taken the innitiative to do it just (to me) says that it's not bothering him as much as you think it does. I may be wrong but that's just the way I'm seeing it.

Well, NGM, it's funny for awhile, but after seeing so many posts it starts tweaking my nerves. It's not just me either.

People are different in private than in public, Penguin. In private people take things more seriously. PM is the perfect medium to express to someone that you're going too far. I've settled a couple beefs here through PM, as well as other places.

At one point I despised Sovereign, but now I actually talk to him quite frequently. Same goes for Vollstrecker, though I don't talk to him near as much.

Ok well Geekster may not have known your policy of a PM to have it stop. But he has tried to tell you and everyone else through his replies; I know you have picked up on it because its obvious. Thats part of what sparked this for me anyway, I saw that in his replies and I was pretty sure you guys saw it too but were just ignoring it.

I hate to make this whole thing so... geekster specific because we keep going in and out of general statements and then specific ones to this case when this in fact does and will happen a lot more then just this incident with geekster and all of this applies to those times as well, not just this one.

I think it is very fun and entertaining to jokingly insult other members. If it is at their expense, they should just let it slide, in my opinion. However, when someone like Geekstar gets made fun of for having bad English when it isn't his first language, I do see where certain people should allow for some leeway. It is a little ridiculous to bash someone who is pleaing for you to stop. Kagom can take it, we all know that. I am sure he gets a little annoyed, but he's not gonna go kill himself. However, toying with individuals who are just sort of coming around on Zelaron isn't cool. As "Senior Members"... or just fucking decent people, we have the responsibility to care for the feelings of other people, as shitty and homosexual that sounds. Trust me, I am straight, I ate a 20 oz. steak for dinner.

I just read the whole thread (was playing tennis for an hour, after i woke up)

I don't really care if people laugh at me and joke about my english and that stuff. But if i fight back i probably get loser'd again or people get mad again because i flamed/insulted them. Ruining my/kagom's threads (the story-game) isnt funny too, it took me like 30 minutes to make up the rules, post the story etc.

The main reason why i wont post that much in future IS because some people don't like it.... or you think im going to be playing tennis whole days ??

Like I said before Geekstar, I was just giving you a hard time. I do, however, get very annoyed with the extent of your posts, but it's nothing I can't tolerate. I've simply learned how to just skim over some member's posts that pissed me off in the past, and that is what I will do with yours. There is more than just Off-Topic Forums outside Diablo, which is probably why I don't think your post contribute..

Penguin, I've personally talked with Geekstar numerous times via PM, and these insults are not going to make him leave. As a matter of fact, they made him realize that him posting that much annoys a lot of people, and now he won't post so much. That is a goal accomplished in my book. That is exactly what I wanted.

Everyone else, I do agree with Penguin though on some points. We really shouldn't insult members all the time when they tick us off. We used to do that zagggon, and it went no where. However, when everyone just ignored him most of the time, he realized that his idiotic posting trend sucked, and he toned it down. I'm just saying that there are other ways, aside from insulting, to get our points across. Lets all tone it down a little, and I'm just as guilty as the next.
