Arena:
The Infernal Cube - A giant block of stone, drifting endlessly throughout the void. The inside is a webwork of stone platforms, walkways, hallways, stairs and ladders, all interweaving into an impossible labyrinth. The inside of the cube knows nothing of the way our physical laws operate, and therefore, gravity is warped. One person can be standing on a platform at the bottom of the chamber, while another stands "upside down" on a staircase on the opposite side without feeling any distortions whatsoever. A combatant placed inside of the cube is a truly unfortunate individual.

In the red corner, the hideous 2,000 year old half-human, half-dragon kombatant stands at 8'2" tall and weighing whopping 550 pounds. Shang Tsung's protegee appears more than eager to get this battle underway.

And in the blue corner, Super Shedder, the mutated super human strength form of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's foe with metal claws ready to rip open anyone in his way, readies himself for battle.

As the two monster combantants enter the Cube, they take a quick step back and take in the distorted view of their battleground. After a brief moment to gain their composures, the freakishly large two engage in battle. Only one will come out of this warped world, who will it be...?

Although Goro is humongous and has many arms, he is still slow. If I remember correctly, Super Shredder was super fast, and could just chip away at Goro. he continues to do so, but Goro is fast enough to grab him once, and pummel him with a downward fury of fists. Bruised and battered, Super Shredder manages to get himself free while cutting Goro severely deep in the chest. Super Shredder wins by hacking Goro head off with a spinning heel kick.

Some of Goro's abilities:

Fireball: You know what this is..

Death Spin: Goro basically flares his arms around as he spins to hit his opponents.

Grab 'n' Beat: C'mon, need I explain this one..?

Grab: Again, no explanation...

Taunt: Are you serious..?

Super Shredder:

First of all, electric or fire shurikens do minimal damage because of his armor. So those elementals are basically pointless. This leads me to believe those elements, not just shurikens, do barely any damage.

I can't really find many specific abilities, other than the fact that he has explosive power, is very fast, and has a shit load of defense.

I don't see any way Goro could possibly beat Shredder. Firstly, they are both probably the same strength, but Super Shredeer is at least 2 times faster, if not a lot more. Goro's big weakness is the way he telegraphs what moves he is going to do next, and with Super Shredder's speed, he would easily counter Goro and stab him all over, making this a fast death.

It is pretty cut and dry. That's why Motaro or Kintaro would've made a far more interesting match. Alas, Goro was chosen.

Shredder could dodge any attack the blundering fool tried. Then, Goro tends to taunt. Why he's beating he's chest, Shredder is bashing his face in.

Super Shredder...it's just too laughable to believe Goro would stand a chance -_-

Yeah, I really honestly can't see a way to argue for either character. They don't have much in the way of abilities, and they're only featured in a minimal number of games as bosses. All in all, I say Shredder. His entire body is one hulking weapon, and he's a hell of a lot faster than Goro.

This is why I didn't want fucking Mortal Kombat characters in this tournament. How the hell is Goro supposed to provide any basis for a solid argument?

Precisely, which is why I would suggest that if nothing else gets contributed to this thread for Goro within the day, it be closed and the next battle opened.

Stupid MK..

It's got to be better than having Shaq in the tournament.

AGREED.

And we'll close this one uber-fast if it doesn't garner any further activity.

I agree it would have to be Super Shredder. All you really got to do with Goro to beat him is kick his ass off a cliff like in the movie lol. He is too slow and he just needs kicked in the balls~
