How does your voice sound off the computer? It depends for me. If I'm relaxed, I have a deep voice. If I'm nervous or at school, I have a whiny kinda voice.

I was a Bass-2 in Choir (yes, Abby convinced me to take it in High School with her).

My voice has a fairly decent range. I can go deeper than you heard, and sing along with bands like Tool (although not every note is pretty).
