Tales of Symphonia

Well, I just picked it up earlier today, and I'm fucking dying to play it, but I'm stuck at work! On top of that, I've gotta beat Metal Gear Solid 2 before I can honestly afford to devote any more free time to another game.

For those of you unaware as top this game's existence, it's the newest game in Namco's wildly popular "Tales" RPG series (Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Eternia, etc). It features a partial cel-shaded anime-style graphics engine, a real time 3D "linear motion" combat system and a full epic adventure spanning two discs and well over 50 hours of gameplay.

I'll most certainly have a review up once I make a dent in it and get about 20 hours under my belt.

Considering it's a sequel to ToP, it's bound to be good. Definately gonna look forward to that review of yours.

I actually just found out last night that ToP is being re-released on the GBA. They're using the SNES-era graphics engine of the original, but adding in all of the gameplay improvements used in the PS1 remake. It's already out in Japan, but the American release is still being mulled over. Nobody knows if it will hit America or not.
